My work reflects my ideas of what jewelry should be. I spent two long years studying design and fabrication at the Savannah College of Art and Design, only to realize that my work needed to be spontaneous and inexpensive enough to reflect my ever-changing tastes. I have found that collecting old pieces and reassembling them into distinctive new ones creates pieces that are full of character. I believe that everyone should wear jewelry, and that it should always be unique. There is no reason to wear mass-produced costume jewelry when there is so much to be recycled and reclaimed.
