George Moskal studied apparel design at the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he hosted several off-campus fashion shows and received an Artist-In-Residence grant for fashion. He went on to study at American Intercontinental University in London and worked alongside Zandra Rhodes.
In 2002, he received the first annual Big Break Award for Fashion from Dazed & Confused magazine. Judges included designer Stella McCartney who selected George for the award even though the contest was intended for UK residents only.
Following the competition, George worked with Topshop U.K. where he designed a capsule collection for their Topshop Boutique. The print-focused collection was named fourth in a 20 Good Things For Autumn feature in Dazed & Confused.
American-based fashion designer George Moskal makes his home in the relative quiet of downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. He makes clothing for sale in local boutiques and participates in the fashion scene through shows and events.
